ミリ波帯アンテナ一体型モジュール技術と高周波デバイスの展望

ITU-Rでは，2027年のWRC-27において6Gの周波数候補としてFR3が議論される予定であり，国内においてもXGMFでFR3の確保に向けた検討が進められている．一方で，FR3は，既存無線システムとの調整が必要であり課題も多い．この現状を踏まえると，5Gでは十分に活用されていないものの，広帯域が魅力的なミリ波の利活用を進めることも重要である．さらに，Sub-THz帯は6G後期での本格利用が見込まれ，将来を見据えた継続的な研究開発が不可欠である．加えて，日本初の電波オークションが26GHz帯に対して2026年に実施され，高周波数帯の利用環境は大きな転換期を迎えている．本パネルセッションでは，高周波数帯の研究開発プロジェクトを推進する産業界や先駆的な研究に取り組む学術界から有識者を招き，5Gの進化や6Gに向けた高周波数帯の利活用に関する最新動向を紹介する．FR3の課題，ミリ波の可能性，Sub-THzの展望といった観点から議論を深め，6G時代に向けて取り組むべき技術開発の方向性について討論する．
