Transient analysis plays a crucial role in fields such as circuit design and electromagnetic scattering analysis. As a numerical solution method for these applications, the Fast Inverse Laplace Transform (FILT) method is widely known, which inversely transforms an image function from the complex domain into the time domain. However, the convergence of this FILT method when applying the shift theorem of the Laplace transform has not been sufficiently investigated. In this paper, we investigate the convergence characteristics when the shift theorem is incorporated into the transient analysis of electromagnetic scattering.
