In sixth-generation (6G) mobile communication systems, ultra-high data rates and large-capacity transmission are key requirements. To achieve this, the utilization of the sub-terahertz (sub-THz) band, which enables several-GHz-class wide bandwidth, has attracted significant attention. For the development of wireless systems using the sub-THz band, it is important not only to clarify the system configuration and requirements, but also to understand transmission characteristics in real environments. Signal transmission schemes include single-carrier and multi-carrier (MC) approaches, each having different requirements. The authors have previously proposed a channel bonding scheme that multiplexes multiple narrowband carriers in the frequency domain and have demonstrated 100 Gbps-class transmission over a 100 m distance. In this paper, we report a wireless transmission experiment that combines GHz-class ultra-wide bandwidth, a long transmission distance of 100 m, the sub-THz band, and MC transmission using OFDM.
