To meet 2050 net-zero goals, we develop high-performance, lightweight high-entropy steels (LW-HESs) to reduce life-cycle carbon footprints. We present 3 LW-HESs with unique mechanical properties and structural complexity. This work provides metallurgical insights in desigh of advanced high-strength steels.
