Prediction method of fatigue crack growth rate in both air and hydrogen gas environment is proposed. The rapid acceleration of fatigue crack growth rate in hydrogen environment was successfully reproduced by introducing a novel criterion based on ductile strain. The influence of hydrogen gas pressure on the acceleration starting position of fatigue crack growth rate needs to be further investigated.
