Choosing the right solutions in these conditions can significantly improve patients' lives. Even when the condition is advanced, restorative resection and reconstructive options are available for disease control, ostomy avoidance and maintenance of quality of life. The aim of this lecture is to discuss management of complex colorectal benign, malignant and IBD conditions, and present advanced surgical and restorative options for ostomy avoidance at a quaternary center.
