Dr. Motao Zhu, professor of pediatrics and epidemiology at The Ohio State University, is an internationally recognized expert in road traffic safety. He has authored over 130 articles including publications in The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Dr. Zhu’s research has had significant impacts on policy and practice at the local, state, national and international levels. His research has reached an aggregate potential audience of over 400 million persons and over 240 TV stations. Dr. Zhu is a fellow of American College of Epidemiology. He received the Excellence in Science award by the American Public Health Association, Injury Control and Emergency Health Services Section in 2023.
