「グローバル・ウイルス学2026：新たな脅威に挑む基礎科学」

“Global Virology 2026: Deep Science for Emerging Threats”

国境を越えて拡大する新興・再興ウイルス感染症に対し、国際的な連携のもとでウイルス学の基礎研究を発展させる重要性はますます高まっています。本学会では、最先端の基礎研究を軸に、その成果を社会実装へとつなげることを目指し、日本だけでなく世界の研究者が集い議論と連携を深めます。

宿主―ウイルス相互作用、データサイエンス、ワクチン開発、パンデミック対策など幅広い分野を横断し、分野融合と国際協働を推進します。ヒト・動物・環境を包含する視点から、ウイルス感染症の理解を深化させ、グローバルな健康課題への解決につなげることを目指します。
