This talk is concerned with global existence and boundedness of solutions to chemotaxis systems, where chemotaxis is a motion of cells oriented toward higher concentrations of a chemical substance. In mathematical studies of chemotaxis systems, Neumann boundary conditions are usually assumed. In such systems, a mass conservation property or an L1 bound can be obtained immediately. On the other hand, this is not the case for Robin boundary conditions. In this talk I will present results on L1 bounds and global boundedness of solutions to chemotaxis systems with Robin boundary conditions.
