AI

In the era of artificial intelligence and big data, significant emphasis has been placed on leveraging AI algorithms for data-driven tasks such as knowledge discovery, mechanistic inference, and predictive modeling. However, the development of a fundamentally new generation of AI cannot be achieved through algorithmic refinement alone. Progress in scientific and social domains increasingly necessitates the construction of neuromorphic AI—computational frameworks inspired by biological neural architectures and characterized by low computational complexity. This emerging class of AI systems is grounded not only in novel insights from neuroscience and biology, but also in the mathematical theory of dynamical systems. Notably, the interplay is bidirectional: such neuromorphic paradigms may, in turn, offer new perspectives and tools for advancing modern dynamical systems theory. This talk will present recent advances at this intersection, illustrated through representative examples that embody the features of the proposed AI framework.
