Among the major materials that make up a nuclear reactor, concrete is an important target in waste management because of the large amount of waste generated. It is also necessary to consider the activation of trace amounts of constituents and the effect on neutron flux due to the water it contains. However, the composition of concrete varies depending on the origin of the material and the way it is blended, and it is essential to consider the actual conditions of the constituent materials. Therefore, in this report, the composition ratio of elements including trace elements and the amount of free water in concrete, which are necessary to organize the activation process, are investigated.
