A Li-7 enriched pH adjuster is essential for water quality control on PWRs, and we have developed the multi-channel counter-current electrophoresis (MCCCE) method for the Li-7 enrichment. As a part of the development, we have developed a CFD simulation method to understand the behavior of ions. In this work, to clarify the effect of applied voltage on the behavior of ions in the enrichment device’s channel, we conducted the numerical simulations of Li ions in the channel and examined the effect of applied voltage on the behavior. As a result, we confirmed that the ions pass through the channel easily under low applied voltage conditions and cannot pass through the channel under high applied voltage conditions.
