This study aimed to clarify the effect of preferential flow on the spatial distribution of 137Cs in soil by investigating 137Cs concentration and saturated hydraulic conductivity in a cedar plantation in Minamisoma. The results showed a positive correlation between 137Cs concentration and soil physico-chemical properties such as saturated hydraulic conductivity, suggesting that the pathway of preferential flow may not change significantly after 11 years.
