[2K10]Behavior of crystalline silicotitanate (CST) sorbent through long time flow

Crystalline Silicotitanate (CST) sorbents are used to remove Cs and Sr in water treatment system such as SARRY-II at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. While the sorbent performance is getting better, there is an event in which sorbent column pressure increases before the sorbent reaches rupture.In this study, long term tests of aqueous solution flow to CST was conducted, and the CST before and after the flow was observed by SEM to investigate the cause of the pressure increase.
