For early commercialization of molten salt reactors, thermophysical properties of simulated fuels were measured and the behavior of FP, CP, AP was evaluated.
The melting point of the ternary simulated fuel was clarified by thermal analysis.
It was suggested that FP, CP, AP react with the fuel to form gases and solids.
The formation of gases and solids could lead to voiding effects and erosion of structural materials.
More detailed effects should be evaluated by cold test.
