To mitigate global climate change, innovation approaching carbon neutral are already delivering new tools supplying energy without carbon-based emissions, such as a new generation of nuclear power plant and carbon-free energies represented by green hydrogen.
An integrated plant of VOYGRTM plant and SOEC facility was modeled to discuss features and possibilities of the integrated plant.
This study suggests that preferred configuration should be selected according to its specific situation, and hydrogen production by the integrated plant can be superior to only power generation by nuclear power plant in terms of thermal efficiency.
