The OECD/NEA FACE project provides a framework for international technical collaboration aimed at facilitating the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. As part of this project, an international round robin analysis is being conducted to enhance participating organizations’ capabilities in hot sample analysis. Currently, uranium-bearing samples obtained from large-scale MCCI tests are being analyzed by various countries, and international discussions are underway regarding analytical methods, results, and evaluation approaches. This presentation reports on the project overview and the sample characteristics based on the analytical results.
