[3G_PL] Efforts of "Joyo" toward the restart of operation

The “Joyo” reactor of JAEA is the only fast reactor in OECD countries aiming for restart and is expected to make broad contributions as a research platform. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, safety upgrade works have been undertaken, and efforts toward its restart are currently underway. Given this situation, this session provides an opportunity to discuss the efforts toward Joyo’s restart, as well as expectations for materials development.
