In the cesium adsorption systems “KURION”, silver-impregnated zeolite adsorbents were used to treat radioactive iodine. The 129I have very long half-lives in radioactive iodine, its evaluation of radioactive concentration is important for the assessment of disposal classification. In this work, 129I in the spent silver-impregnation zeolite adsorbents were analyzed. Also, we analyzed 14C, which is an important radionuclide due to its long half-life in the evaluation of disposal classification.
