In coordination among the areas of characterization to disposal, the study is being conducted to present appropriate overall measures for solid waste management while reviewing the necessary R&D tasks. In proceeding with the study, it is important to organize the results and of R&D activities, from characterization to disposal. When examining individual waste streams, based on the characteristics of each type, under the coordination of each area, appropriate approaches to reduce uncertainty should be considered. Then, a combination of options in each area will be examined depending on the uncertainty and accumulate the individual waste stream option proposals that have been recognized as safe and feasible.
