Award

Student Travel Award

ANS2026 (Okinawa) will offer a Student Travel Award to support outstanding student researchers and to promote the advancement of near-infrared spectroscopy research as well as the development of the next generation of scientists.

Purpose

The Student Travel Award aims to encourage excellent research presentations by students and to foster young researchers in the field of near-infrared spectroscopy. Through this award, ANS2026 seeks to support students who will contribute to the future development of the field.

Award

Selected recipients will receive:

  • A certificate presented during the conference
  • A monetary award of JPY 50,000

Please note that this award does not reimburse travel expenses, accommodation, or conference registration fees.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Be a student (not holding a full-time professional position) at the time of application
  • Submit an abstract for an oral presentation at ANS2026
  • Obtain approval from their academic supervisor before applying
  • Applicants from any country or region are welcome (no restriction based on physical distance)

Application

Students who wish to apply for the Student Travel Award should indicate their interest during the abstract submission process by selecting the Student Travel Award option in the submission system. Applications will be evaluated by the conference committee based on the scientific quality and impact of the submitted research.

Poster Award

ANS2026 (Okinawa) will present Poster Awards to recognize outstanding poster presentations and to encourage high-quality research communication within the near-infrared spectroscopy community.

Purpose

The Poster Award aims to promote excellent scientific discussion and recognize researchers who present impactful and well-communicated research through poster presentations at ANS2026.

Award

Selected recipients will receive:

  • A certificate presented during the conference

Eligibility

  • The award is open to all conference participants presenting a poster at ANS2026.
  • Both students and non-student researchers are eligible.

Application

Participants who wish to be considered for the Poster Award should indicate their interest during the abstract submission process by selecting the Poster Award option in the submission system.

Poster presentations will be evaluated by the conference committee based on the scientific quality, originality, and clarity of the presentation.
