Welcome Message from the Conference Chair
The Asian NIR Symposium (ANS) series has established itself as one of the world’s leading biennial conferences in the rapidly evolving field of near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, bringing together a diverse community of scientists and industrial partners. Since its inception in 2008, the ANS has rotated among member countries of the Asian NIR Consortium (ANC), including Japan, Thailand, China, Korea, and India. We are proud to announce that the 10th milestone symposium, ANS2026, will be held at Okinawa Jichikaikan in Naha, on the beautiful main island of Okinawa, organized jointly with the Japan Council for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (JCNIRS).
As with previous symposia, ANS2026 will focus on a wide range of topics, including NIR theory and fundamentals, instrumentation, data science-such as chemometrics and machine learning- and innovative NIR applications across various fields. We have already invited a distinguished group of speakers who are leaders in their respective areas. We cordially invite researchers to submit their abstracts and join the vibrant discussions on the future of NIR in these expert-led sessions.
Furthermore, the contribution of instrument manufacturers and vendors is indispensable to the practical advancement of NIR technology. We have dedicated ample exhibition space and sponsor session time to ensure fruitful information exchange. We look forward to your active participation.
To support the next generation of researchers, ANS2026 is pleased to offer Student Travel Awards and Best Poster Awards. We strongly encourage young scientists to take this opportunity to showcase their work and challenge themselves on an international stage.
We look forward to welcoming you to the stunning island of Okinawa in the pleasant warmth of November.
