IVUSを活用することにより、EVTの成功率・長期開存率が上昇したことは間違いない事実である。一方、世界におけるEVTの主流はいまだAngioガイドであり、IVUSを用いなくてもIVUSガイドと同等の成績が期待できる症例も多くある。本セッションでは、各領域（AI, FP, BTK)において、それぞれIVUSが必要/不要の立場で講演いただき、EVTにおけるIVUSの位置づけ・必要性を再考し、正しいIVUSの使い方を議論する。
