【ハイライト講演】千葉県房総半島に分布する千倉層群の第四系基底部付近において，ボーリングコア（GM-1コア・GM-2コア）を掘削した．これらは連続性に優れており，その解析を行うことで，ガウス-松山地磁気逆転境界（G-M境界）付近における地磁気変動の詳細解明および，第四系基底部境界付近における国際的な年代層序確立に寄与することが期待される．（ハイライト講演とは．．．）
