【ハイライト講演】最近，北海道苫前地域の古丹別川セクションで高解像度の統合層序が構築され，白亜紀の国際年代境界を補助する模式地「SABS」の候補となる可能性が示された．本発表では，年代境界付近の二枚貝密集帯について，当該地域内2地点の地層対比と岩相・元素組成の解析から形成要因と同時性を検証し，SABSで境界を認定・対比する地域的指標としての有効性を探る．   ※ハイライト講演とは．．．
