Invitation
The 6th International Conference on Nanospace Materials (ICNM6) will be held in Nagano, Japan on July 29th to August 1st, 2025. This meeting was initiated at Fukuoka, Japan in 2014, hosted by the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS) (co- sponsored by Department of Innovation Research, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), National Taiwan University, and Fukuoka Institute of Technology and managed by Prof. N. Miyamoto). The series conferences have been organized every two years; ICNM 2015 at Taipei, Taiwan (Professors C.Y. Mou and K. Wu), ICNM 2017 at Shanghai, China (Professor S. Che), and ICNM 2019 at Brisbane, Australia (Professor Y. Yamauchi). After the longer break from the previous one (ICNM 2019) due to covid-19, ICNM 2022 was organized in Thailand (Professor M. Ogawa), followed by the post-ICNM conference at VISTEC (ICNM2024 Thailand, organized by Professor M. Ogawa). On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great honor to invite you all to participate this scientific event in which recent advances of nanospace materials will be presented and discussed near Zenkoji Temple and Togakushi Shrine.
The conference topics include preparation, characterization and application of materials with nanospaces. Industrial production of nanospace materials, novel nanospace materials, advanced characterization, and applications from energy/environmental ones including adsorption/separation, energy storage and catalysis, bio and medical application to any kind of advanced materials will be discussed. In addition to typical nano-porous materials (such as carbons, silica gels, zeolites, mesoporous silicas, metal organic framework/porous coordination polymer, covalent organic frameworks, and pillared clay), open spaces with lower dimensions (capsule (0D), tube (1D), and layered material (2D) and those filled with liquids (gels)) are within the scope of ICNM6.
