Welcome message
Following IWPMA 2022, which was hosted online by the Japanese team, the conference has since been successfully organized in Korea, Germany, and Lithuania as an annual global event. It is our great honor and pleasure to once again host this inspiring workshop here in Japan.
As many of you know, IWPMA focuses on piezoelectric materials and their diverse applications, including actuators and energy harvesting. This year, we also aim to push the boundaries of innovation by exploring emerging frontiers such as AI-driven control systems and bio-ultrasonics research.
We look forward to welcoming researchers and engineers from around the world to IWPMA 2026 for stimulating discussions, meaningful exchanges, and the creation of new ideas that will shape the future of smart materials and devices.
Once a year, the IWPMA conference brings us together — not only as colleagues, but as old friends reunited by our shared passion.
At the same time, it offers a wonderful opportunity to build new friendships and collaborations with first-time participants.
We sincerely hope that everyone will find this conference both inspiring and invaluable for your future research and discoveries.
