Committee for diversity management and talent pool, combining career support committee and gender equality committee, was established on October, 2015. Rising diversity is important to develop the JpGU and sciences themselves in Japan. This committee will make efforts to enhance diversity including various talents to keep balances of gender, nationality, and generation. However, we recognize there are still many problems, for example, to step up careers of young scientists, and to keep work-life balance (child-care and care for aged people). We will consider about these problems and discuss how we can overcome through this session.
