With the revision of the course of study, the textbooks of junior high schools have been completely renewed from 2021. In addition to the contents so far, the handling of natural disasters will be enhanced. So how has the description of volcanic disasters and disaster prevention changed? And how has the scientific description of volcanoes changed? In this presentation, I will compare the descriptions of volcanoes in junior high school science textbooks published by each company and extract problems.
