[O06-P22]Research of tephra in Bushi formation The Iruma River basin

The four tephra samples, Azu-Koen1, Azu-Koen5, SSI, and Nakabashi, were collected from the Bushi Formation in the Inuma River Basin, and two experiments were conducted to compare the data. In the first experiment, the proportions of minerals such as quartz, pyroxene, and amphibole were counted in the collected samples, confirming differences in their quantities. In the second experiment, individual volcanic glass fragments were enlarged and their surfaces were observed to confirm differences in shapes such as vesicular and bubble types.
