This report presents a case study of Japan’s long-term energy scenario toward 2050 carbon neutrality. Using the AIST-TIMES model, we analyzed the energy supply-demand structure including fuel decarbonization, estimating future hydrogen and ammonia imports and reductions in required CO₂ removal through innovative technologies.
