補綴歯科治療と歯科技工は不即不離の関係にある．それぞれの患者に対して，歯科医師と歯科技工士の緊密な連携がなされるからこそ，機能と審美が両立した補綴装置製作が可能となる．今回は「可撤性床義歯－知と技と美の融合－」をテーマとして，歯科医師と歯科技工士の二人一組で，両者の共同作業としての集大成ともなる症例を報告していただきたいと思う．発表者は公募により選抜し，会場参加者の投票で最優秀賞を決定する .
