補綴歯科治療の目的の１つとして顎口腔機能の回復が挙げられる．咀嚼機能，嚥下機能，疼痛制御の回復に関するエビデンスが欠如している中で，口腔リハビリテーションに関する中枢からの検討は有用な知見になると考えられる．本シンポジウムでは咀嚼機能，嚥下機能，疼痛制御に関する中枢からの検討について解説を行い，新たな口腔リハビリテーションの構築を提案したい．
