The Circumplex Model of Marital and Family Systems, developed by Olson, explains the state of human families and their transitions. It provides guidance toward desirable family states. As we head toward an era where humans will live alongside robots and AI agents, our goal is to develop the Robot Family System (RFS), which will contribute to maintaining these desirable family states by drawing on insights from family systems and family psychology. As an initial attempt, we implemented a multiagent system on ROS that can generate behaviors resembling those of a human family. We also investigated mechanisms to maintain a balanced family state based on Olson's model.
