The decision-making model for characters in digital games is fundamentally based on agent architecture. However, characters are also biological entities. In such cases, incorporating the umwelt model allows them to blend into the game world as more biologically realistic beings. We propose a new model that integrates umwelt and agent architecture, implementing both as a neural network model. This model encompasses both artificial intelligence and artificial life. This model is simple: it involves placing perceptual markers (Merkmal) and action markers (Wirkmal) on the character targeted by the subject, and implementing a neural network on the subject's side that reacts to them. This causes stimuli perceived by the subject to prompt actions at specific locations.
