Sub THz-band waveguides can be manufactured using a UV curable resin-based 3D printer, RECILS, combined with electroless Ni and Cu plating. RECILS allows for large-scale fabrication up to 100 × 100 × 80mm³ with a high resolution of 20-30 μm, and this future is suitable for fabrication of sub-THz waveguide. RECILS fabricated waveguides have a cross-section of 0.86 × 0.43 mm² and a length of 25.4mm. They exhibit an insertion loss of 0.5-1.0dB within the 200-400GHz frequency range. Additionally, bandpass filter waveguides are also fabricated, closely matching the frequency characteristics of conventional bulk metal waveguides.
