A novel method to control the X-ray trajectory using the peculiar strain field at and around the interfaces of crystalline stacking fault has been developed which also uses the X-ray translation effect inside the deformed crystals. It uses the complete termination of X-ray translation effect due to an interface structure having a large discontinuous jump of lattice spacing, observed first time. The obtained knowledge affects the interpretations of the results of X-ray topography measurements and will be fruitful for the development of near-future crystal X-ray optical components.
