X-ray phase scanner
X-ray phase scanner systems can acquire an absorption image, a dark-field image, and a phase-differential image at a time, and can determine the fiber orientation inside an object from the acquired dark-field image.
Since conventional systems are equipped with only one-directional gratings, it is necessary to take multiple images of the object in different directions to obtain fiber orientation information. In this research, we are developing a system that can acquire fiber information in any direction in a single shot by using a grid with multiple directions.
