In recent years, metal microstructures have been required in electronic circuits due to miniaturization of devices. Laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) is one of the techniques for forming metal microstructures. The LIFT method can produce fine metal structures while requiring less material. However, there is a problem that the shape of metal microstructure by the LIFT method is not smooth. In this study, the femtosecond laser is used as a light source, and the machinable parameters are investigated for the purpose of forming copper linear structure with smooth shape by the LIFT method on the glass substrate.
