Previously, we repoted the free carrier generation under the weak excitation conditions and the ultrafast response applicable to the ultrafast optical swtiches due to the impulsive exciton interference. In this work, we report the variation in the absorption spectrum in the terahertz band caused by the free carrier generation in a GaAs/AlAs multiple quantum well.
