In this research, we synthesized series epitaxial thin films of nickelate perovskite oxides ReNiO3 (Re = Nd, Sm, Eu). By combining the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and optical observation, the ionic conductivity is evaluated. Based on the above results, the stack-type resistance switching device based on HxEuNiO3 is designed and the response speed is 3 orders faster than reported oxygen type devices. As perspective towards energy harvesting, the thermal conductivity regulation based on protonated ReNiO3 will be also introduced.
