To achieve a pulsed laser field with a 100 MHz-class repetition rate and high peak power, it is effective to accumulate the laser in an optical enhancement cavity. However, high-precision feedback and automatic control systems are required to maintain the laser accumulation in a high finesse cavity. Here, we report on the demonstration of an optical system in which the laser accumulation is achieved in a spontaneous manner by placing the cavity into the optical path of a fiber mode-locked laser oscillator.
