Mechanochemistry encompasses a materials synthesis approach that relies on mechanical energy rather than conventional thermal synthesis. This alternative reaction method offers several advantages, including environmental friendliness and scalability. However, achieving precise control over the reaction is challenging due to the lack of a comprehensive understanding of the underlying processes. To address this issue, our research employs X-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescence measurements to investigate the mechanochemical reaction process. The results reveal that the reaction occurs in two steps and show a correlation between the material structure and photoluminescence properties. This methodology enhances our understanding of the reaction pathway of mechanochemical reactions.
