Photonic reservoir computing by using speckle patterns in a 250 × 920 µm2-footprint snake-crawling-shaped multimode waveguide is proposed. Experimentally Obtained normalized-mean-square error (NMSE) is 0.049 for the Santa-Fe time-series prediction task. This value is the same level as the previous work, even though it has a smaller footprint.
