This study was inspired by the possibility of creating a plasma-activated Ringer's lactate solution (PAL) that could suppress autophagy in cancer cells as a protective process against cancer therapy, thereby enhancing the anti-proliferation effect of PAL in cancer treatment. Prior to the development of the autophagy-suppressing PAL, it is necessary to identify the autophagy induced component in the PAL. In this presentation, we will report on the investigation of autophagy expression in cancer cells treated with PAL components.
