We recently discovered a colusite Cu26Ti2Sb6-xGexS32 with excellent thermoelectric properties. Subsequent investigations suggested that the sulfur defect produced during synthesis process makes impacts on the thermoelectric properties. In this study, we prepared samples with controlled sulfur deficiency and investigated their crystal structures and thermoelectric properties. As a result, we found that the sulfur deficiency decreases the hole carrier concentration and reduces the lattice thermal conductivity near room temeperature.
