In this study, we investigated the mechanism of negative capacitance generation in CNT/Cu structures using carbon nanotubes. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes grown vertically on a zirconium substrate were brought into contact with a copper electrode plate and pressurized by tightening screws to change the distance between the CNTs and the Cu electrode plate. The DC bias and AC amplitude were varied, and the capacitance and resistance were measured under these conditions in vacuum and in air.
