In this study, we evaluated the short-term memory performance of a physical reservoir using a mixed ionic liquid as the working medium, referred to as a mixed IL reservoir. The mixed IL reservoir demonstrated performance superior to that of the original IL reservoir when exposed to input signals with different time scales, while still maintaining the short-term memory capabilities inherent to the IL reservoir.
