Since metals can lose their intrinsic properties through corrosion, research has been conducted to prevent this by forming graphene on their surfaces. In this study, in order to investigate the graphene formation process on the Cu3Pd(111) surface, the surface properties was traced by ethylene supersonic molecular beam and synchrotron radiation X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. According to the spectrum obtained by molecular beam irradiation, peak growth depending on the irradiation dose was observed. In the presentation, we will discuss the adsorption state and reactivity of ethylene.
