If a heterostructure or composition gradient can be introduced into perovskite solar cells, it is expected that we can improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency by increasing the open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current. Taking into account that there is a large bowing in the composition dependence of the band gap of CsSnxPb1-xBr3, we fabricated solar cells with its composition controlled to have a linear gradient band gap. Based on the results of XRD, photoabsorption, AFM, I-V characteristics, the crystallinity, optical properties, and stability under light irradiation, physical properties of the graded-composition structure will also be discussed.
